
Patch 1.5
From Kuttenberg to Miskowitz, our blacksmiths, huntsmen, and townsfolk have been hard at work fixing, polishing, and refining life in Bohemia. This update brings improvements across combat, daily life, quests, and more - along with a few well-earned touches to your favourite DLCs. Read on for the full list of fixes and tweaks.
FEATURES
Blacksmithing
- It is now possible to select materials for the blacksmithing minigame directly from the shared stash or horse’s inventory.
Combat
- Added proper sounds for wooden axes.
- Fixed camera clipping with the player model when blocking with a shield.
- Fixed issue where dying enemies stayed standing and unresponsive
Daily life
- Chests no longer restock themselves if all their owners are dead.
- Fixed Father Frantishek in Kuttenberg not returning home in the evening.
- Fixed the Pschitoky bathhouse owner sometimes not working.
- Fixed the Rabstein huntsman’s unlocked door.
- Fixed the female drinking wine animation.
- Improved settling in Miskowitz.
Dialogues
- Each voiceover language now has its own set of NPC facial animations, instead of sharing the ones generated from the English voiceover.
Environment
- Fixed problems with partially loaded building structures.
- Made various environmental improvements for smoother overall gameplay.
Horse riding
- Added better UI feedback for when the horse is over-spurred.
Horse trading
- Horses now wait significantly longer in the holding area next to the horse handler.
PROS
- PROS account is now called Deep Silver account.
Photo mode
- Fixed an issue with the Sharpening option didn't work on Low graphics settings.
Points of interest
- Points of interest for underground locations no longer appear when the player walks over them.
Reputation
- Fixed Raborsch not being discoverable in terms of reputation.
- Removed one mystery location from the reputation tab which couldn’t actually be discovered.
Skills & perks
- Fixed the Natural Camouflage perk’s effect on player‘s visibility.
UI
- Fixed scaling of UI text in inventory.
- Fixed incorrect cursor movement on the map when using a wireless controler.
- More actions can now have their input key customised.
Visuals
- Fixed HDR making many colours appear too red.
- Fixed light sources casting shadow lines at certain angles.
- Fixed ghosting on the map when using FSR4.
- Added collision to the door frame at the Kuttenberg town hall.
- Improved various minor visual imperfections across the game.
Quests
A Sinful Soul
- Quest can be now be correctly progressed even when loading older saved games.
Bad Blood
- Bozhena can now be given the compensation from Jakesh.
Battle of the Frogs and Mice
- Fixed Innkeeper Prochek refusing to go with the player to the pasture, without any other objective starting.
Brunswick
- Fixed environment issues in Vidlak.
Civitas Pragensis
- Fixed Henry not getting appropriately drunk when drinking with others.
Combat Training
- Fixed incorrect music playing during the tutorial.
Damsel in Distress
- Fixed multiple save files sometimes triggering simultaneously.
Dancing with the Devil
- Rats no longer float in the air in the village.
- Fixed loading issues in cutscenes set in Maleshov village.
Divine Messenger
- Fixed Godwin's pathfinding through the valley.
- Fixed visual inconsistencies of NPCs in cutscenes.
Exodus
- Improved overall music design during the quest.
For Whom the Bell Tolls
- Blacksmith's line about Henry forging horseshoes is no longer abruptly interrupted
Fortuna
- Fixed cauldron movement during the alchemy tutorial.
Horse racing
- The player can now shoot a crossbow regardless of how it was equipped (double-clicking, dragging, or via keyboard)
Hunger and Despair
- Fixed Dry Devil facing the other way during preaching.
- Fixed Frenzl using unconscious dialogue barks while still awake.
- Fixed Musa's path to the wounded soldier.
- Fixed Zizka's unnatural turn after the polylogue.
- Fixed Zizka, Katherine, and Capon being misplacement during the polylogue.
- Fixed crime icon during the battle.
- Fixed non-functional Talk prompt after skillchecking Dry Devil.
- Fixed trespass issues at the Suchdol fortress.
- Henry is no longer injured if Dry Devil beats him up.
- It is now possible to deliver cooked meat to Dry Devil.
Hush, My Darling...
- Fixed an issue where a poisoned potion had no harmful effect on the Black soldier.
- Fixed dead quest NPCs not respawing before the quest is accepted.
Ill Repute
- Adjusted the duel’s difficulty.
Into the Underworld
- Fixed several broken dialogue optioons when first meeting Liechtenstein.
- Fixed dialogue with the bathmaids at Adam's Baths.
Invaders
- Fixed multiple issues with the quest log.
Kuttenberg Tournament
- Fixed perk notification for winning the tournament appearing after every victory.
- Fixed all tournament behaviours and fights ending prematurely if the player left the area while waiting.
- Fixed objectives leading back to the tournament after failing due to crimes.
- Fixed objectives remaining active indefinitely if the player missed the entire tournament.
- Fixed not being able to attack the opponent during a duel.
- Fixed tournaments getting stuck if the player uses a timeskip right before it begins.
- Fixed disqualification not triggering properly after loading a save during the tournament.
- It’s no longer possible to reach NPCs on the city walls after timeskipping the day before the tournament.
- It’s no longer possible to leave the locked arena via fast travel.
Laboratores
- Fixed mismatched animations for drunk Henry during the pillory dialogue.
- The villagers now gossip about Hans and Henry during the quest.
Last Rites
- Fixed the player being able to jump down from the wall.
Materia Prima
- Improved dialogue logic in stealth tutorial dialogues.
- Improved quest item behaviour.
Melee at the Mill
- Rematch option is no longer available after Henry wins a fight.
Miri Fajta
- Woodworkers now react to the player carrying a dead body.
Necessary Evil
- Upon arriving in Semine, the player can no longer leave the area by committing a crime.
Opus Magnum
- The player can no longer steal infinite number of Minthe perfume from Betty anymore.
Post Scriptum
- Henry now receives compensation for his troubles.
- The quest now ends after being released from the pillory.
Reckoning
- The player can now leave with Sam.
Speak of the Devil
- Improved timing for fighters starting the assault.
Striped Tonies
- The quest now fails when the player commits a crime.
- The objective to get the perfume is no longer blocked if Elsa dies.
Teeth in a Bag
- The player cannot interact with the body of the fighters anymore.
The Devil's Pack
- Fixed an issue where player could get stuck in intro dialogue with Kubyenka if he found Bohuta, Matthew, Hans, and Ranyek beforehand.
- Fixed issue with Adder not opening his mouth when booing Henry during party dialogue.
- Fixed two bandits remaining idle after respawn.
The Fifth Commandment
- Fixed animations in the final dialogue.
- Objectives no longer stay active when the quest fails.
The Italian Job
- Horses no longer disappear during the cutscene.
- The skillcheck can be passed when talking to Csaba.
The Jaunt
- The NPCs no longer exit the cart on their way back to Semin.
The Lion's Den
- Fixed incorrect music playing in medical tent during Cherthan's examination.
- The enemies killed are now counted to the proper section of the Statistics.
The Mouth of Hell
- Unconcious enemies no longer play idle animations.
The Spark
- No guards are present next to the mines after the explosion.
The Storm
- Made severak environmental changes in Apollonia for better playability.
The Thieves' Code
- Knuckles can no longer copy the symbols multiple times.
Victimised
- Fixed receiving a quest tip before the quest becomes available.
- Fixed incorrect objective behaviour if the player already acquired the needed potion in the Trosky region.
- Player can now re-equip their gear the first time they open their invenotry after the quest forcibly removes in during a certain ending.
Yackers'n'Fash
- Fixed an issue where all three saints could join the fistfight inside the tavern.
[DLC] BRUSHES WITH DEATH
- Only the complete dice set may now be returned to the painter.
- Bandits now eat and drink in their camp.
- Bandits now go to sleep to heal if they are left injured.
[DLC] LEGACY OF THE FORGE
- Added a barrier to a duel arena with Sir George.
- Added a sleeping place for the second apprentice if the player hasn’t yet renovated their room.
- Added logic to correctly handle product drops during generic blacksmithing.
- Adjusted skillcheck difficulty against the Thief.
- Breaking the Heirloom Sword now updates the quest item count accordingly.
- Choosing Respond in quick chat now starts a conversation with the NPC when taking an order.
- Disabled stealing the guard’s halbverd during the Friendly Bout.
- Egg basket is no longer a quest item after failing its quest.
- Fader no longer occurs during fight with Janek the Scribbler.
- Fixed Henry clipping in the guild acceptance dialogue if he's drunk.

- Coerce skillcheck with Volf can now be passed in Hardcore mode.

- Locks on several chests are now better balanced.
- NPCs in the donations activities now correctly react to player threatening them with a ranged weapon.
- NPCs no longer ask for donations at night.
- Player can no longer get stuck in Loretz during the quest.
- Players can now respond to a calling customer only from close range.
- Polished display of unique weapons on hooks in the player’s chamber.
- Prevented NPCs chatting in the background during the dialogue with Bushek.
- Prevented the player from being able to leave Sir George’s arena by mounting a horse.
- Pushko now properly returns the foundry even without a horse.
- Removed interactor for hanging items on hooks when player is facing the opposite direction.
- Removed the ability to chat with customers through walls.
- Stolen items now remain stolen even after being put on the hook and picked up again.
- Dice players no longer keep money for badge while still demanding a quest badge.
- The player can no longer send Mutt to attack the patient’s family during serving as a dentist.
