Deep Silver in celebration of their recently released open world RPG OUTWARD, and in cooperation with the heavy progressive rock trio Cellar Darling, today released a new trailer featuring the title track of their new album “The Spell” which was released 22nd March under “Europe’s No. 1 Metal label” Nuclear Blast.

“The Spell” fits perfectly to Outward’s setting as the weaves a dark fairytale for the modern era, told through heavy yet intricate, progressive folk rock which compliments the original style and immersive story telling of the game.

The Swiss group Cellar Darling incorporates rock, heavy metal, folk, classical, and progressive influences. Notably, the band uses a hurdy-gurdy, an old folk instrument (although custom built to incorporate electric pick-ups and a modern design) and a traverse flute, which combined with their unique style match perfectly the enchanting distinctive world and experience of OUTWARD.
