Deep Silver & partners at gamescom 2011

Deep Silver & partners offer an exciting line-up of games to visitors of the gamescom trade fair 2011, featuring exclusive playable experiences that include blockbusters like Risen 2: Dark Waters from Deep Silver and F1 2011™ from Codemasters.

The latest and hottest games by Deep Silver and its partners will be presented from Thursday through Sunday on the Deep Silver stage in hall 7 B041/C040. At over 600 m², Deep Silver offers fairgoers numerous gaming stations to try out the featured titles themselves. A special area at the Deep Silver booth, resembling a pirate ship, is home to Risen 2 by Piranha Bytes, allowing visitors to experience the tropical setting first hand. In addition to the live games presentations, further entertainment includes a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?: Special Editions live quiz, trailer shows and prize drawings.

Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion: (Action Adventure; Nintendo 3DS™) Publisher: Deep Silver, www.punchtimeexplosion.com

Featuring the casts of some of Cartoon Network's most iconic shows, Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion is the network's first-ever all-star brawler set to make its debut on the Nintendo 3DS. Fans can go toe-to-toe with characters from their favourite Cartoon Network shows including Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Chowder, Captain Planet, Samurai Jack and many more. Single player Story Mode allows players to experience an original story written by a Cartoon Network writer and allows players to experience a variety of gameplay styles while travelling through the Cartoon Network universes. Players can also duke it out in Battle Mode multiplayer, taking on up to 3 friends over wi-fi; or can simply go it alone in a rumble against 1-3 of their favourite characters in the vs CPU Battle Mode.

In F1 2011 players will be challenged to ‘Be the driver, live the life, go compete’, with wide-ranging technical and gameplay advancements on and off track and vastly extended competitive and co-operative multiplayer components. F1 2011 will feature all of the official teams, drivers and circuits from the highly anticipated 2011 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP^TM, including the current FIA FORMULA ONE DRIVERS’ WORLD CHAMPION Sebastian Vettel. The 2011 season also sees the debut of the 2011 FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX OF INDIA at Delhi’s Jaypee International Race Circuit and the return of the iconic Nürburgring to the calendar.

In Jane‘s Advanced Strike Fighters, players struggle to end a civil war in the fictitious state of Azbaristan. Action takes place in 16 missions, covers 65,000 square kilometers of mountains, deserts and urban landscapes, and includes 30 detailed jet fighters from the USA, Russia, Europe and China. In the game's multiplayer modes, up to 16 fighter pilots and two to four players in co-op mode can take up the challenge to solve the conflict.

The PC version of Jane‘s Advanced Strike Fighters will be playable at the Deep Silver booth.

With an all-new pirate-based theme, Risen 2: Dark Waters aims to combine the most loved classic RPG gameplay mechanics of the original Risen with a fresh theme and setting on a huge variety of themed island locales. A third-person role-playing game set in a dark and gritty universe, Risen 2: Dark Waters maintains the most immersive features of the original Risen, with multiple approaches to every challenge allowing players to shape the game world based on their own decisions. In 2012, Nina and Max will return in the long-awaited third installment of the award-winning Secret Files series. True to the tradition established by its popular predecessors Secret Files: Tunguska and Secret Files 2, the classic point & click adventure combines an exciting story with entertaining gameplay, mental challenges, and beautiful graphics. A team of screenswriters supervised by NEOS Film is on board for the series' third installment; having already worked successfully on TV and movie productions, they will help develop the game's plot, drama, and characters.

Secret Files 3 will be presented by the developer Animation Arts on stage and is playable at Deep Silver’s booth.

With a history of more than 25 years, The Dark Eye is one of Europe's best-known role-playing brands. In addition to the popular pen & paper adventures, TDE has also inspired a series of successful computer games. The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav immerses players deep in the world of Aventuria, where they experience an amazing story and explore lands never before featured in a TDE computer game.

The Dark Eye: Chains Of Satinav will be presented live on stage by Daedalic Entertainment.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?: Special Editions is an exclusive new range of co-branded, downloadable video games, which will launch on all major platforms. The new digital games will be based on the hit game show from licensor 2waytraffic but will allow players to expand their experience with visual themes, question packs and trivia from other popular entertainment brands.

At gamescom 2011 there will be regular live quizzes with the main game Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?: Special Editions on the Deep Silver stage.
